My Fernandes has a number stamped on the body in the neck heel that seems to indicate the date-it's 980114, which I'm assuming means it's from 1998. Where the truss rod access would normally be is a brown oval.of wood.as if the truss rod hole was filled in.but looks original.
The Chrome neck plate has Fernandes across the top and Made in Japan across the bottom. The headstock is shaped differently than any I have seen. It says Fernandes, Made in Japan and has a serial number 01796.
